Amy Gregory, MD

Dr. Gregory joined Eye Care Associates in 2009 and has owned the practice since 2011. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1991 and earned her MD from New York University School of Medicine in 1995. She completed her medical internship at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas.

After finishing her ophthalmology residency, Dr. Gregory spent 10 years in independent practice in the Oklahoma City area where she practiced comprehensive ophthalmology and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center Department of Ophthalmology.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology for over 20 years, Dr. Gregory is an active member and past-president of the Vermont Ophthalmological Society. She is also an active member of the American Medical Association, Healthfirst, and a board member of the Vermont Medical Society.

Dr. Gregory has been board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 2000 and is certified by the Vermont Board of Medicine. She practices comprehensive ophthalmology which includes medical and surgical eye care for patients of all ages. She is an established cataract surgeon having performed well over 5,000 cataract surgeries and has a particular interest in surgery for the correction of eyelid problems. Dr. Gregory performs surgery at the University of Vermont Health Network, Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, Vermont where she has served as past-president of the medical staff.
